Living on the Central Coast boasts many benefits. One of the best benefits is that it’s a short, beautiful road trip to Big Sur, CA. If you’ve ever been to Big Sur, coming from the North or the South, you know the drive is part of the journey and some of the best finds are stopping for photo ops or beach explorations. Army and Navy
When I quickly assessed which jacket to grab for attending a gathering the other night, I was pleasantly surprised with my choice. More and more into the evening, I was enjoying the combination of a heavier more durable jacket with a light, airy top. The color combo kept speaking to me more throughout the night as well. I realized the deeper hues of each, complimented one another and although the peep-toed booties are a bit matchy-matchy with the jacket, they have more green overtones, creating the perfect balance. Sundress in Tulum
Hello all! Happy February! I can’t believe we are already one full month into 2016. Time is a tricky little thing. It’s getting colder here on the Central Coast this week (although reports say 80* for Sunday – crazy) and it’s making me ache for my December trip I took to Tulum! Continue reading
Tiny Kitchen ReModel
Everyone loves a good facelift to a much-needed room or area. I probably like them a little too much – my brain is always working on ‘what’s next’ when it comes to design and decor. I feel satisfied for a bit, and then it’s time to make more changes and improvements. I have already shared this same house’s Tiny Bathroom ReModel and now it’s time to share the kitchen… Continue reading

Hi Guys! I hope everyone had an amazing, yummy, cozy Thanksgiving with family and friends. I hosted this year – my first one ever! If I must say, it was quite the success. From the decor, the table layout, to the drinks and delicious dishes, Thanksgiving was what you could ever ask for in a holiday. Continue reading
Fair Fun
Nothing says summer like a trip to your State or local County fair! This past weekend, the California Mid-State Fair wrapped up it’s 69th year running. Although I’ve only attended it the past 4 years, this fair is always a wide-spread, event filled, bag o’ fun! I have tried to make it a point to go every year that I have lived on the Central Coast. Aside from getting a fill of country, boot-wearing fun, it always provides good laughs, plenty of people watching, and special memories. Continue reading

Easter
Happy Easter friends and family! Growing up, Easter always yielded fond memories from sneaking first peaks of any visible eggs I could see out the windows to hopefully one-up my brother in the much-anticipated hunt to wearing pretty, pink, flowery outfits put together by my mother. I always loved our day of traditional breakfast, Easter egg hunts, Easter basket goodness, and being together enjoying Spring. Continue reading
