Chasing Wildflowers

‘Tis the season for wildflower hunting! This year has brought some pretty amazing scenes around the county. So, when Easter was quickly approaching with no plans set in place, I decided it would be the perfect day for a Sunday drive to chase wildflowers. As a bonus, it ended up being an extra special day as it was our six month anniversary. We decided to pack a picnic with sparkling wine, rosé, with robins eggs for dessert (because you need classic Easter candies on Easter, of course). We drove out of town about an hour to a small highway that cuts through a valley and is known for its wildflowers in early Spring. We walked into the fields and found a perfectly quaint spot under an old oak tree. It was a lovely day full of sunshine, flowers, love, and good food and wine. I wore one of my favorite Free People dresses as it is playful, SO comfortable, and fun to frolic (around fields) in.
